We are experienced travelers who have been traveling and leading tours for 20 years. Committed to small group travel, we love sharing our knowledge about the visual arts, sacred histories, mingling with locals, and sampling fine foods and wines. Traveling with small groups allows us to stay in local neighborhoods and mingle with the local residents in their bars, cafes, and restaurants. We like to stay in family-run hotels. During our trips we enjoy hosting optional before dinner reflections sessions where we talk over the day's highlights and learn from each other. We love taking people on journeys and giving them the skills to get around on their own in a different culture, so that one day they can return without a group if they choose.

We enjoy staying in local neighborhoods, eating in local restaurants, and sometimes going where there are few tourists. We also love museums and opening up the world of are to even the least interested person. Historical architecture and the architecture of sacred spaces intrigues us, so we'll find those places too.

We take only 3-4 groups of 6-10 people a year, so contact us soon if you want to be in one of them!

Our trips emphasize art, religious architecture, local color, and fine food. We visit world-class museums and experience the pleasure of new and unique surroundings. Limiting the size of our groups to 6-10 people makes it possible to travel "close to the ground," that is, blend in with local people as much as possible and enjoy their restaurants, grocery stores, and means of transportation. If you like to eat interesting food, visit fine museums, see ancient and modern architecture, learn a little history, experience sacred places, and enjoy magnificent art, these trips are for you!
