Sicily Immersion
Dates Open

Italy as you've never seen it, with a touch of ancient Greek culture. Experience Greek theaters overlooking the sea, the best preserved Greek temples outside of Greece, and Byzantine mosaics like you've never seen before! We enjoy good food (lots of seafood in Sicily) with the locals in their restaurants. If you have "done" Italy but haven't had a taste of Silicy, this is your tour! We will build the dates around your schedule.

Mystery Tour
Dates Open

For the adventuresome group, we will set a mystery itinerary and you will not know where it is going until you arrive at the airport. Sound like fun? Well, we will offer some hints, like what to pack!

Athens and Greek Islands
2008 or 2009

This tour features an introduction to classical Greece in Athens, a few days on the quiet islands of Samos and Patmos, where we stay in family-run hotels overlooking the sea, and a day trip to the ancient ruins of Ephesus on the western Turkish coast.

Art Lovers' Adventure

Let's follow sculptor Michelangelo and the painter Caravaggio as we absorb their works first in London, next in Paris, and finally in Rome. Along the way we shall notice how the French and British borrowed imperial Roman architectural styles (who borrowed it from the Egyptians and the Greeks). Oh, and we get to sample Italian and French cuisine as well as basic English pub grub!

Istanbul, Central Turkey, and the Agean Sea

We begin in Istanbul and see the center of Byzantine architecture and art. We will travel into central Turkey, proceed to the southern seacoast, and conclude our journey on the western shores at Ephesus. Turkish cuisine is excellent, and the people warm and welcoming!
